Texas Tech basketball coach Chris Beard was tossed during a Tuesday loss to West Virginia, and the video is epic.
Late in the game when it was clear the Red Raiders weren’t going to win, Beard went ballistic on the officials. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
At one point, he was literally sitting on the ground trying to make some kind of point, and he was eventually ejected. Watch the incredible sequence of events below.

That is an all-time great meltdown by a coach when we’re talking about pro and college sports. That’s a first ballot hall of fame meltdown from Chris Beard.
He took it from zero to 100 in a heartbeat. That was all gas and no brakes.
A wild ending in Lubbock as Chris Beard gets thrown out after challenging officials and going on the floor at one point to make his case. A massive road win for @WVUhoops over @TexasTechMBB. Hope @Hoophall is paying attention. Bob Huggins needs to make the cut for 2021.

The cherry on the top was obviously when he decided to go ahead and sit down on the floor. Whenever a grown man is sitting on the court trying to prove a point, you know you’re in for an awesome time.
Chris Beard is in a full on rage, getting kicked out of the game and sat down to scream a ref. I love Chris Beard. pic.twitter.com/fzP8ZxzWLI

While we’re here, let’s also take a moment to remember arguably the greatest rant in the history of sports. Mr. Lee Elia, take it away!
