Country music legends Luke Bryan and Riley Green pulled a viciously funny prank on a Knoxville crowd Friday.

The duo were performing near the Tennessee hometown of fellow country music star Morgan Wallen, so Bryan decided to tell the crowd that Wallen would be joining them on stage, according to Whiskey Riff. To add fuel to the fire, Bryan started playing the open riff to Wallen’s triple platinum single “Whiskey Glasses,” before saying “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage Morgan Wallen!” according to footage shared on TikTok.

The crowd can be heard going wild, thinking Wallen, Green and Bryan were about to unite to perform the hit single. “Morgan’s not here!” Bryan said between laughter.

Green followed up with the prank, saying “I know Morgan Wallen’s not here, but you know who is here? Blake Shelton everybody!” The crowd, fooled twice, erupted in screams again. “Alright ladies, I’m pretty sure 30% of the crowd just pissed in their pants,” Bryan continued, clutching his chest as he laughed. Wallen is currently out on his sell-out “Dangerous” tour, and was performing in Calgary, Canada on Friday night, according to Concert Archives. After a near career-ending crisis in 2021, Wallen has gone on to break record after record in his professional career and is now one of the top selling artists of all time.
