A new ad obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller blasts Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly for his policies on the border and crime less than two weeks from the midterm elections.

The ad from Heritage Action and American Firebrand criticizes the Arizona senator for refusing to take a hard line stance against the Biden administration’s border policy.

“Arizona, we have a problem. Our state is falling apart,” the ad opens. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Pro-Life Org Partners With Medical Group On App To Ensure Hospitals Can’t Deny Critical End-Of-Life Care)

“D.C. Democrat Mark Kelly has sacrificed the people of Arizona to Biden’s open borders cruelty, endless illegal immigration, record drug overdoses, gruesome gang violence, human trafficking pipelines,” the ad continues. “And while Arizona suffers, Mark Kelly has stars in his eyes. He’s raised millions of dollars from Hollywood celebrities who support open borders.”

The ad is interspersed with footage from news reports on the worsening fentanyl crisis, gang violence and human trafficking.

“Open borders hurt innocent people. But Joe Biden and Mark Kelly haven’t cared.”

“It’s time for Mark Kelly to come back down to planet earth,” the ad says, referring to Kelly’s past as an astronaut for NASA.

Kelly currently holds a slim lead over Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters, according to FiveThirtyEight. In August, Kelly lead Masters by over 10 points, a lead which Masters has etched down to just over 4 points.

Arizona governor Doug Ducey announced a plan to fill portions of the border wall the Biden administration has failed to fulfill its promise to fix in August.

“All bets are off when dealing with Washington, D.C. right now on the border crisis because the talk is just so cheap,” Arizona Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tim Roemer told reporters at the time.

In response to the overwhelming influx of illegal aliens at the border, Ducey has joined Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in busing migrants from his state to self-described sanctuary cities such as Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser declared a public emergency over the number of migrants coming into her city.
