Jennifer Aniston’s Father Dies At 89

Jennifer Aniston’s father, John Anthony Aniston, died Nov. 11 at the age of 89.

John was best known for his role on the soap opera “Days Of Our Lives,” playing the role of Victor Kiriakis since 1985, multiple sources noted. The actor had a decades-spanning career in the world of entertainment and was honored with a Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Award this June.

Jennifer Aniston, most famous for playing the role of Rachel Green on “Friends” confirmed her father’s death on Instagram.

“Sweet papa…⁣ John Anthony Aniston ⁣You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew,” Jennifer wrote.

She went on to honor the actor in the emotional tribute.

“I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less!” she posted.

John Aniston served in the United States Navy as an intelligence officer who served on active duty in Panama and attained the rank of lieutenant commander, according to Military News. (RELATED: The Man Who Voiced Batman For Decades Has Died)

Jennifer Aniston addressed the irony of her father’s passing on Veterans Day. “You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now 🕊️” Aniston wrote.

John Aniston’s acting credits also include “Gilmore Girls,” “Airwolf,” “My Big Fat Greek Life,” “Star Trek: Voyager,” “Mission: Impossible,” “American Dreams” and “Mad Men,” according to Military History.

“I’ll love you till the end of time💔⁣” Jennifer Anniston added. She did not make mention of his cause of her father’s death.
