“Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent spoke to Meghan King on the Intimate Knowledge podcast and revealed she recently had sober sex for the very first time.
Kent told King she hooked up with a man over the summer and noted a dramatically different element in this relationship than what she experienced during her engagement to movie producer Randall Emmett. The 32-year old recovering alcoholic said she had been so accustomed to being drunk or tipsy during sex that she had never engaged in sober sex before. “I was so terrified to have sex sober because I had never done it before,” Kent said on the podcast.

Kent went on to say drinking and sex overlapped while she was with Emmett.
“I got into a relationship when I was in my alcoholism, and then I got sober with this person, so I was already comfortable. Sober sex with the new man in her life has proven to be a success for the reality TV star. She and her new partner “were coming back for more, a lot,” Kent said. “Whoever taught him needs some sort of award, because it was mind-blowing,” she told King.
Kent celebrated her third year of being sober in October 2022, and ex-husband Emmett helped celebrate her achievement on Instagram with a photo on his Story, according to US Weekly.
Kent and Emmett’s divorce was confirmed in November 2021, the outlet reported. The two share a daughter, Ocean, together.
