Popular rapper YNW Melly called out multiple Broward County jail prison guards on Instagram, saying he fears for his own safety after they allegedly threatened to beat him up and keep him in isolation.
YNW Melly said Tuesday he is in a dangerous situation and expressed he fears for his life inside the jail, according to his Instagram posts. His mother, Jamie Demons-King, is trying to get help for her son and wants someone to take action to ensure his safety, according to a video shared by TMZ.

Demons-King said her attempts to get relief from the judge presiding over Melly’s case proved unsuccessful, but she is apparently refusing to give up. She said she has since brought the alleged matter to the county commissioner and is hoping the move will generate some assistance for her son.
“I am housed and surrounded in the care of power struck deputies and captains of high authority that even have told me to my face that ‘they don’t like me’ and ‘I pissed them off,'” Melly wrote in one of his Instagram posts. “I am not safe in the hands of these people especially if the highest in command in the jail ‘doesn’t like me’. I am in fear of my life. My family is in fear of my life. I can not do another day here,” he continued in the post. “Someone please help me get moved to another county jail until my trial. PLEASE!”
Demons-King said she feels helpless and is desperately seeking assistance for her son. She said her birthday lands on Christmas Day, and her wish is to speak with her son, according to TMZ.
YNW Melly is serving time for allegedly murdering two of his friends, TMZ reported. He is famous for his songs “Murder On My Mind,” “Mixed Personalities” and “Suicidal.”
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office and Broward County jail did not respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.
