A video on Tuesday captured firefighters battling a massive fire at an apartment complex in downtown Portland.

The fire reportedly started on the third floor of the building around 10:30 a.m., with fire officials declaring the fire four stars around 11:30 a.m. Dozens were left without homes, however no major injuries were reported, according to KATU. A Portland Fire & Rescue Spokesperson said Tuesday that “all things lead us to believe that everyone made it out.”

The building, which is unenforced masonry, had structural issues, including leaks, mold, wiring and mildew, KATU reported. It also lacked smoke detectors, according to the outlet.

“Well, this one was actually an occupied building. So, unfortunately 60 to 80 people lost their home today and that’s a different challenge than some of the derelict buildings that we’re facing in the city right now. So, on this one I think it’s too early to tell. We just don’t know,” City Commissioner Rene Gonzalez said to KATU.

Portland General Electric said they would be shutting down power, a move that would leave thousands of residents without electricity. The city also closed Interstate 405 in response.

It remains unclear what ignited the fire.
