Because of course, this happened in Miami.
While the Miami Marlins were holding a 1-0 lead against the Philadelphia Phillies at loanDepot Park, one fan got his 15 minutes of fame for a few different reasons — 1. He got to shake hands and chop it up with a baseball player for a couple of seconds, 2. He completely outran and embarrassed security in a blaze of glory, and 3. He’s now going viral.
On top of all that, he also ignited a comeback for the Phillies, which just adds to the aura of this guy. In the ninth inning, Philadelphia put together a three-run rally and earned the 3-1 victory.
Just check out this guy:

Bally Sports’ Jeremy Taché — who showed me love on Twitter before and is permanently cool in my book after the fact — hilariously called the dude a “streaker” despite him being fully clothed, which makes this whole situation even better.
So this “streaker” just outran security?!?!?!?

Unfortunately though, the guy ended up being caught by security.

And from there, as promised, the Phillies roared back and took home the dub.
