“Voices Wales” and Welsh politicians were utterly destroyed Wednesday after a poorly-written tweet went viral.

“The Welsh Parliament has just voted for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza,” the outlet wrote on Twitter. “The motion put by Plaid Cymru was carried 24 in favour, 19 against and 13 abstentions. PC, Lib Dem and a number of Labour MSs backed the ceasefire motion.”

But hold on. Wales — one of the four countries that constitute the United Kingdom — has nothing to do with the war in Gaza … so why do they need to vote on a ceasefire? What were they hoping to accomplish here?

“Okay. I’ll call IDF and tell them to pack everything up real quick,” one user responded with glorious sarcasm.

“So, is it sorted now then?” another posted.

“I guess Wales will immediately pull its troops back from Gaza then will it?” one man wrote,, playing off the parliament’s apparent misconception that Welsh forces are currently pounding the hell out of Hamas.

Apparently 24 lawmakers voted in favor of a ceasefire, while 19 were against, but honestly who the hell cares what the vote was? It’s like if the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, city council decided it needed to weigh in on Kenyan housing policy. (RELATED: George Soros Defended Hamas In Horrendous 2007 Article)
The fact that the Welsh government voted in favor of a ceasefire means absolutely nothing, but reading these replies in a thick Welsh accent is probably the most fun I’ll have on this rainy Friday, init?
