Cardi B blasted New York City for defunding its police, sanitation and schools, while also announcing that she no longer supports President Joe Biden.
The rapper’s rant went viral on social media after she went off about New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ budget cuts on Instagram Live. Video posted Sunday on X accumulated millions of views.
“I’m an angry bitch right now. I need you to spread this video, and if something happens to me, it’s because I’m speaking the truth,” Cardi B said.
“In New York, there is a $120 million budget cut in New York that’s going to affect schools, public libraries, and the police department. And a $5 million cut in sanitation,” Cardi B continued. “Bitch, we are going to be drowning in fucking rats.”

Cardi B also said she no longer endorses President Joe Biden, declaring her disapproval for the United States’ funding of international wars like those in Ukraine and Israel. She told politicians to “sit the fuck down with these people and find an agreement.”
“We can’t fund no fucking wars,” Cardi B said. “We can’t.”
