Whether you liked Beyonce’s country album or not, the truth is she ventured way out of her scene to take on a country-girl persona. She rocked chaps and a cowboy hat, completely transforming herself into a country girl. Fine. It’s related to an album, and it’s done. Kim Kardashian recently took on a cowgirl persona, and it’s time to nip this weird trend in the bud, before this really becomes a “thing.” The Kardashians — in country attire? It’s time to stop. Maybe Kim can throw on a sunhat with that bikini — a cowboy hat doesn’t really fit in with that outfit.

The cowgirl look can score high on hot points sometimes, but when it’s blatantly misused — paired with a Kardashian’s bikini, for example — it just seems weird. Kardashian is clearly trying way too hard to take on this new style, but it’s such a dramatic shift from her usual glam-look that she’s just not fooling anyone. Nobody wears a cowboy hat with a bikini.
Kardashian sported her weird look in a slew of Instagram photos, alongside the caption “This ain’t Texas…it’s Turks.”

Why are these women trying so hard to fit in with the country music market, anyway? Beyonce has covered pop music and R&B. The singer also has some hip-hop and gospel vibes in her music. She could have just left country music alone. Her cowboy hat look is completely out of place from her usual style, and just makes it seem like she’s trying too hard.
