Concern grows for Kate Beckinsale after the star recently posted, then deleted an image of her mother with severe bruising on her face, alongside cryptic messaging.

Beckinsale shared some images of her mother, Judy Loe, with some serious injuries to her face. The shocking photos included a significantly black eye on the left side of Loe’s face, according to TMZ.  “My mum is hurt,” Beckinsale wrote alongside the now-deleted photographs. “Everything in me just wants to scream. That soft, beautiful face, the unfairness of yet another fucking blow, this time, to the face, hands, knee,” she wrote. Beckinsale did not identify the cause of the injuries.

The famous actress didn’t clear up the many questions forming about what may have happened to her mother, nor did she indicate how Loe is currently feeling or recovering.

The words she did share lacked context and led to greater concern.

“As I am twisting my guts up to rail at this, she dresses in delicate purple to jauntily complement and has managed not to break a single bone,” Beckinsale wrote.

“No one is stronger, no one terrifies me more in her fragility,” she said.

Beckinsale then wrote, “Please mind, if you can. Minding helps,” although she did not elaborate on what she was asking for, specifically.

The famous actress also posted screenshots showing the texts exchanged between herself and her mother, but the messages didn’t offer any further clarity on the matter.

Within the texts, Loe wrote that she was “going for purple,” to which Beckinsale replied, “Mum that’s so bad. How you make it look chic I do not know… you are a full gangsta.”

“It’s grim, isn’t it?” Loe responded.

The last message from Beckinsale to her mother read, “I mean yes, horrific, but you don’t half suit purple so somehow you still look gorgeous. It’s a superpower.”
