Dave Wallace

Senate Candidate, Maryland

Dave Wallace was the GOP nominee for the 8th Congressional District in Maryland in 2014, and a candidate for the same district’s GOP nomination in 2012.

In 2014, Dave won 39% of the vote on a small budget, achieving the greatest percentage by large margins for any Republican since 2002. In two of three counties, he out-performed Romney’s 2012 votes.

In this year of great dissatisfaction with establishment candidates, Dave’s populist take on solid conservative issues will appeal to both Republican primary voters as well as to independents and moderate Democrats for the general election.

Dave is a successful businessman in Carroll County. In 1981, he founded Chesapeake Kitchen Wholesalers, a distributor of kitchen cabinets and accessories to the remodeling and construction trades. The business has grown over the years and reaches customers in many states.

In 2008, Dave founded Restore America’s Mission, a public policy educational and grassroots advocacy organization, which brings a voice to Maryland conservatives on critical national and state issues, and even brought grassroots activists to rallies in Washington, D.C. He is well-regarded by both national and local conservative activists and policy experts.

Many Marylanders have listened to Dave’s radio program on WCBM in Baltimore, a show he hosted for more than a year.
Dave is a native Marylander. He grew up in the East Baltimore County, in Dundalk, a blue collar community near the Sparrows Point Shipyard and Bethlehem Steel. He attended Our Lady of Hope Church and School in Dundalk, and graduated from South Carroll High School.
Dave’s first job was working on one of the largest dairy farms in Carroll County, where farm work started before dawn and ended at dusk.

Dave graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology-Pre-Med. After he graduated, he worked at National Institute of Health (NIH) doing immunological therapy research to fight cancer.

Dave has been married to his wife, Barbara, for over thirty years and is the father of three children; Missy, Wendy, and Paul.
