President Trump tweeted what seems to be a typo on Wednesday, although some, including his son Donald Trump Jr., are relating the typo to the relationship between former FBI officials Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, two prominent players in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
Trump tweeted:
Ex-FBI LAYER Lisa Page today defied a House of Representatives issued Subpoena to testify before Congress! Wow, but is anybody really surprised! Together with her lover, FBI Agent Peter Strzok, she worked on the Rigged Witch Hunt, perhaps the most tainted and corrupt case EVER!

The president tweeted “layer,” most likely meaning to tweet “lawyer.” However, not everyone is convinced it was a typo.
“Layer” Best Presidential typo ever. Unless it wasn’t a typo. In which case it is even better. https://t.co/IK3hcCn2sj

Made me laugh out loud.

Finally, Trump’s son weighed in on the conversation:
Based on what was going on there I’m reasonably sure that’s not a typo. https://t.co/Asf3w2yqas
