Pennsylvania Democratic Congressional candidate Scott Wallace is also a multi-millionaire who lavishes donations on population control groups.

As Fox News reports, Scott Wallace has provided millions of dollars to groups who want to coerce people from “irresponsible breeding” by raising their taxes. There’s another solution to keep the population down: that “highly effective weapon” of abortion.

Wallace, who is the grandson of former Agriculture Secretary and Vice President Henry Wallace, is up against current Republican Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick in the race.

The challenger has dipped into the Wallace Global Fund — a well for liberal causes — to the tune of $7 in order to freely give to population control activists like Zero Population Growth (ZPG), to whom Wallace donated $420,000.

The ZPG people was founded in 1968 and wasted no time in publishing an information brochure that suggested abortion was one way to manage the population since “no responsible family should have more than two children.” Anything else was “irresponsible breeding.”

As Fox News notes, the co-founder of the ZPG is on record as describing abortion as “a highly effective weapon in the armory of population control.” The group now calls itself Population Connection, but its mandate remains the same.

The Wallace Global Fund also found $20,000 for Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy — who argue that economic expansion is not healthy for American society when you can have no growth at all in either the economy or the population.

Wallace’s communications honcho wasn’t answering any questions that Fox News directed at her. Zoe Wilson-Meyer wouldn’t say if Wallace was still a keen advocate of population control and groups that suggest abortion is an acceptable lever to achieve that goal.

“The Wallace Global Fund has for decades been a leader in helping women gain access to family planning. Former Co-Chair Scott Wallace is proud of the work of grantees like Planned Parenthood in empowering women and protecting reproductive rights and will stand up for Pennsylvania women,” she wrote in an email to Fox.
